The Body Shop Health Club Class Schedule

The Body Shop Health Club offers a wide variety of Fitness Classes, from beginner to advanced, you're sure to find a fun and challenging workout that's appropriate for your level of fitness no matter what it may be.

TRADITIONAL YOGA - No other exercise program has been as enduring as Yoga. In fact it's been around for over 5,000 years. Yoga takes your workout to a level of mind-body connection. It can help you relax and focus as well as gain strength and flexibility, it's a great mood booster. Yoga Instructor Ashly Wierma will share the many mental and physical benefits of adding Yoga to your fitness program. Free to members or $5 drop in fee for non members.  

Tuesday - 8:30am

Thursday - 8:30am 

HOT YOGA -  Yoga Instructor Ashly Wiermaa will guide you through this hour long hot yoga class. It incorporates vinyasa style dynamic flow and yoga postures in a heated studio, and focuses on alignment, balance, and flexibility. The studio is quiet except for the gentle guidance of your instructor.  Hot Yoga is appropriate for all skill levels.  This Heated Class is between 95 - 97 degrees. Please come prepared with a yoga mat, a big towel to cover your mat, a small gym towel and water. Get ready to sweat.Free to members or $5 drop in fee for non members.  

 

Saturday - 10:00am

BODY ROCK - Body Rock concentrates on what we like to call, “Functional Fitness”. This popular, boot camp style class combines strength, cardio and mobility exercises in a group setting. No two workouts are ever the same with Body Rock which is one of the reasons for its popularity. Requires the Ultimate Membership or drop in for $5.

BODY SHOP BOOTCAMP -  A mix of strength training and aerobic elements known as interval training in a group setting. Expect bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity. The goal of our boot camp is to provide you with a whole-body workout that builds both strength and endurance. This 30 minute class will include a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights, kettle bells, the use of straps, battle ropes, push ups/sit ups, plyometrics, and various types of other intense explosive routines. We will also incorporate other exercises using weights and/or body weight which are used to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, increase strength, and help with overall fitness. Requires the Ultimate Membership or $5 drop in.

PUNCH & KICK "GET FIT" -  Our Punch & Kick Class is a combination of self defense training, kick boxing and cardio rolled into one calorie blasting session. Our instructor is a former MMA fighter who has trained with top UFC fighters. This class requires a Punch & Kick Membership for $49 or $5 drop in. Ultimate Members can add this class for $20 per month or $5 drop in.
